 Accountant – MIS & Compliance (Female Preferred)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant (female preferred) who will focus on Excel-based MIS reporting, financial analysis, and compliance (GST & TDS).This role is not just accounting, but a data-driven finance role involving reporting, forecasting, and decision support.

🛠 Roles & Responsibilities

  • MIS, Reporting & Forecasting (Primary Focus)

  1. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports using Excel

  2. Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and projections

  3. Analyze revenue, expenses, and profitability trends

  4. Create structured reports for management decision-making

  5. Develop automated Excel sheets for recurring reports

  • GST & TDS Compliance (Critical Responsibility)

  1. Prepare and assist in filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

  2. Perform GST reconciliation and input credit tracking

  3. Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and return filing

  4. Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements

  • Data Validation & Accounting Coordination

  1. Review and validate accounting data maintained in Tally

  2. Ensure proper classification of entries and ledger accuracy

  3. Coordinate with internal/external accountants when required

  4. Identify discrepancies and ensure timely corrections

  • Financial Analysis & Control

  1. Perform bank and ledger reconciliations

  2. Track receivables, payables, and cash flow

  3. Support budgeting and cost control initiatives

  • Confidentiality & Data Handling

  1. Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data and company records

  2. Ensure secure and organized handling of financial rep

🎓 Skills & Qualifications

  • Education

  1. B.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)

  2. CA Inter / Semi-qualified (Preferred)

  • Experience

  1. 2–5 years in accounting / MIS / finance roles

  2. Strong hands-on experience in GST & TDS filing

  • Technical Skills (Very Important)

  1. Advanced MS Excel (Mandatory):

Pivot Tables

VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP

Data structuring & MIS reporting

Basic financial modeling

Working knowledge of Tally (for validation & coordination)

  • Soft Skills

  1. High accuracy and attention to detail

  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  3. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

  4. Self-driven and able to work independently
